| Fakelore City Bag : A project of the Mobile Academy 2004 | The Folklore Fakelore Akademy at Berlin’s HAUEINS drew 100 students from throughout the world for three weeks to visit seminars held by international artists. As part of the academy, Stefanie Bürkle designed an art project in which students bring two pictures of their home cities, one in which they feel welcome and one in which they don’t. These images were then made into fakelore city bags, whose one side showed the place of comfort and the other side the place of unease. All the students who participated in the program received one of these bags, which they could use in Berlin and take with them back home.
